Makan malam


Malam ni rasa tak nak makan nasi,tukar menu pulak. Makanan ni merupakan makanan org Italy,macam ala-ala piza tapi tak sama. Namanya Focaccia dan dimakan dengan kari ayam semalam atau sambal tumis ikan bilis(versi orang melayu).Emm.sedap jugak sekali sekala tukar menu.Resepinya diambil dari Buku Family Circle dan telah di ubah sedikit mengikut selera sendiri.


FOCCACIA

INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 1/3 cups flour
3/4 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp salt
3 cloves garlic crushed
2 tbsp olive oil + 1 egg
1 tbsp semolina
1 tbsp olive oil,extra.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Combine yeast,sugar,1 tsp flour and water in a small bowl.Stan covered in warm place 10 minutes or until frothy.

2. Sift remaining flour and salt into mixing bowl. Add garlic ad stir to combine. Make a well in the centre,stir in yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix to form a dough.

3. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface, knead for 10 minutes. Shape into a ball. Place into lightly oiled mixing bowl, covered with platic wrap and leave for 40 minutes or until well risen.

4. Preheated oven 210 C.Sprinkle pan with semolina.Knead dough again until smooth. Press dough into pan. Prick holes with fingger and sprinkle with water.bake 10 minutes.Sprinkle again with water. Bake again 10 minutes.Brush with extra olive oil, sprinkle with salt and bake 5 more minutes. Serve warm and cut into square.


ps:boleh ditambah bahan untuk ditabur diatas Foccacia-cheese,tomato,bawang dan sayur2an lain mengikut selera masing2.
